Joel Schumacher directs this drama based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Nick McDonell. Set in the world of the super-rich in Manhattan's Upper East Side, the film is a disturbing chronicle of privileged urban adolescence. Despite his unlimited potential, rich kid White Mike (Chace Crawford) has dropped out of his senior year at high school and spends his days selling marijuana to his ultra-privileged friends. But Mike's charmed existence hits a brick wall when his cousin is brutally murdered in an East Harlem project and his best friend is arrested for the crime. The supporting cast includes Emma Roberts, Ellen Barkin, 50 Cent and Rory Culkin. Keifer Sutherland narrates.
Dramatic thriller based on real events, adapted from the book by Armistead Maupin. Robin Williams stars as Gabriel Noone, a radio talk show host who has developed a loyal following for his deeply personal on-air monologues, many of which are related to his relationship with his HIV-positive partner Jess (Bobby Cannavale). However, when Jess starts to recover, he rocks Gabriel's world by announcing that he is leaving him. In the midst of his crumbling personal life, Gabriel becomes embroiled in the life and story of an HIV-positive 14-year-old boy, Pete (Rory Culkin) who phones into his show. But when questions about the boy's identity come up, Gabriel's life descends further into chaos.
Drama starring Edward Norton. Tobe (Evan Rachel Wood) is a pretty 18-year-old whose father, Wade (David Morse), is the sheriff of a town in California's San Fernando Valley. Harlan is immediately and obviously taken with Tobe, and when she asks him to tag along for the day, he impulsively quits his job to follow her. Tobe and Harlan soon become a couple, but Wade is convinced Harlan is not all he claims to be.
Three young high school friends come up with a plan to free themselves from the attentions of George (Josh Peck), the school bully, in this dark coming-of-age American drama. But when Sam begins to understand that George is merely lonely and confused, and desperate for friendship, he begins to have misgivings. Despite these misgivings, events have been put in motion that none of the boys can stop.
